The Diwan Foundation was created by Muslim alumni of Cornell University in response to the need for coordinated Muslim life on campus.

Diwan seeks to enhance the quality of life for self-identifying Muslims and all Cornellians, by providing resources, implementing programs, and developing opportunities for students.

Diwan Foundation is a 501(c)(3) federally tax exempt organization registered in New York State.

Diwan's Mission:

To enhance Muslim life at Cornell University.

To enrich the Cornell experience for campus Muslims by providing programming and services to support their wellbeing.

To serve as a resource for all Cornellians—Muslim and non-Muslims alike—on all matters pertaining to Islam as a culture, civilization, and belief system.
